Welcome to Incipit — here begins your journey (literally, in Latin)
At Incipit, we're not just any other organization; we're a dynamic community dedicated to fostering innovation, exploration, and collaboration in the space of technology. Primarily due to the challenging process of building passion projects and the lack of support groups and mentorship to make a true impact, we have started this program.
This group will provide a platform that first: allows students to meet other like-minded students and form teams based on different skillsets. Second: connects with mentors and local government committees to help mentor projects and deploy them.
What We Offer:
- Projects: Our programs will help you get real experience. We get in contact with projects from other labs and universities or have you research and select a problem and help you collaborate with others and create a real impact in your work.
- Guest Speakers: We connect you with professors, seniors, and industry professionals who share insights and expertise on cutting-edge topics in the industry. We won’t just go behind buzzwords like “generative AI” or “quantum computing,” but really understand how this technology works and what are it’s implications to human society.
- Online Forums: Stay updated with our frequent posts and engaging online forums where thought-provoking discussions thrive. We believe that discussion and even occasional disagreement nurtures diverse and nuanced perspectives.
Getting Involved:
- Weekly Meetings: Join our weekly meetings where we set agendas, discuss upcoming events, and explore new ideas.
- Mentorship Program: Connect with mentors who can guide you through your journey and help you unlock your full potential.
- Non-profit Registration: We're exploring the possibility of registering as a nonprofit, which could open doors for greater opportunities and collaborations. You could even act as a vice chair in conferences through your involvement, backed by our established nonprofit status.
